We exist to make great food easy, nutritious and delicious!

Virtue was born when our founders discovered that sourdough bread (and pizza) didn’t give them the digestion issues that had prevented them from enjoying bread for many years. This, added to an inherent love for entertaining friends with beautiful food and outdoor cooking, meant that over Christmas 2020 Virtue’s ready made sourdough pizza dough was launched online.

In June 2021 we joined forces with Blackdown Growers, a long-established salad and herb producer, with an excellent food operation and delivery network and this meant that we could broaden our product range and scale up our operations.

Since then, we have diversified further, but always remaining true to our belief in high quality and love for beautiful, natural and flavour-packed foods.

We call them “products with personality” and are sure you will love them as much as we do.

Virtue Foodservice Range for Caterers

We are sourdough pizza specialists, serving cafes, pubs, street food and events caterers with products of great quality and authenticity. Sourdough is our passion in many formats – ready made pizza doughballs, par-baked bases and pinsa romana flatbreads, available with a complementary range of of dressings and condiments.

We are very proud that many of our products are made in the UK, but also manufacture in Italy and elsewhere where required.

Virtue House of Brands for Farm Shops & Food Halls

We partner with unique and emerging brands that want to break into the UK market and sell wholesale to farm shops and foods halls nationwide.

If you are a small producer, think of us as your UK sales team, championing your brand and your values in our marketplace.

If you are a farm shop or food hall, think of us as your specialist procurement team – you won’t find the ordinary here! Look out for new brands as we build this exciting collection for you!

How we work

Fast, flexible and easy.

Customers within a 50-mile radius of our Leamington base are served with our own vehicles, with a weekly delivery day as standard.

Further afield, we use overnight food courier services to offer a next day service for orders place before 11am, to the majority of mainland UK apart from Northern Scotland. Orders can be placed at any time of day or night on our website, where you can choose your preferred delivery date. This means that not only can customers have an order very quickly, but they can also plan ahead and book in deliveries ahead of time for planned events.
